Missouri to celebrate BCS title-game win this weekend

Oh, you mean that 41-6 win against Nebraska wasn’t for the national title?
So why in the hell were Tigers fans celebrating as if they had never beaten Nebraska before (they did so in 2003 and 2005) and they had never been 5-0 before (last year)?
Maybe they forgot that their season is not even half over.

In-Stadium advertising will hurt more than it helps

Kragthorpe’s didn’t like the question at all. His response? The coach asked Domine [...]

I’M A MAN! I’M 40!!!

You’ve seen it elsewhere (Deadspin, The Big Lead, and others), but this is too priceless a clip to not re-post. Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy unleashes the fury of righteous indignation on the Stillwater press corps. Here’s the link to the video in case your computer isn’t grabbing the embedded file.

The Midday Sun

Some Monday reax from the weekend’s events:
- They’re nervously fingering the panic button in south Florida in the wake of Miami’s 13-10 overtime loss to the Redskins. Dan LeBatard apparently wasn’t impressed with the first game of the Cameron-era Dolphins. And Greg Cote noted that new QB Trent Green Green “was one fortunate drop from [...]
