Let’s see, what are the worst places to try and rob? Hmm … how about a bank? All those cameras, all that security … and what about a horse racing track? Yeah, same scenario - let’s hit there!
And that’s where the story starts.
According to the Henderson Gleaner, three yahoos on Monday tried to rob a clerk at the Ellis Park race track on the border of Evansville, Indiana and Henderson Kentucky, showed a gun, tried to grab a couple of bags of money. One of the clerks grabbed for one of the bags, knocked the gun to the floor, and the three dorks ran.
Without the cash. Yes, you got pwned by an 85-year-old horse racing clerk. And now you’re likely on camera 75 different times.
Police say the men had bandanas covering their faces and, while officials initially thought they got no cash, they now believe the men might have gotten some money.
But honestly, even if I stole $75,000 and had to own up to the fact I got outsmuscled by Grandpa Simpson, I’d probably give the cash back.
