This is one of the greatest sport temper tantrums I’ve ever seen.
Swedish wrestler Ara Abrahmian, angry about his semifinal loss in 84-kg wrestling (we can’t find a conversion chart to pounds and don’t care to search any further), one where he had to be restrained from going after the judges (seen above), slugglishly took to the medal podium before immediately leaving, then dropping his bronze on the mat.
“I don’t care about this (bronze) medal,” Abrahmian said. “I wanted gold”.
His coach called the semifinal decision “politics”. We call the aftermath great video! Enjoy!
That’s cooler than anything Safin ever did. If I pulled that crap, my mom would have made me go sit on the steps for time out!
