How soon we forget: Norman “stole” Evert from husband

I don’t care what anyone says: Greg Norman didn’t choke today. Dude is 53, about two decades older than the guys who passed him late in the event. That just doesn’t happen.

So we got that out of the way.

And now everyone’s cooing about the Norman/Chris Evert marriage, how she’s given him strength, how he he looooooooooves playing tennis with her, how they’re sooooooo in love … and then we see this, Evert admitting in Vogue magaizine that, yes, she and Normie slept together while still married to their other spouses.

“It was like an irresistible force,” she said. “How do you explain something like that?”

Um, get a divorce THEN sleep with him? (BTW, when we google “Chris Evert” and “classy”, we get 5,270 hits. Ron Burgundy would be proud, Chrissy.)

This shouldn’t be a huge shock: We told you about it here and the Aussie papers told you here. But Andy Mill, Evert’s former husband, had the best quote of all:

”Greg Norman at one time was my best friend and a year-and-a-half ago I would have taken a bullet for this guy,” Andy Mill told The Melbourne Herald Sun “But I didn’t realize he was the one who was going to pull the trigger.”

No wonder Jim Everett got so pissed.
