Congrats on 27 years. Can’t say I’ll miss you - your awful ACC homering and mid-major to small school bashing was beyond childish, but I do appreciate this, your April 2007 (before the Final Four) appearance on “The Charlie Rose Show”.

When asked by Rose if he could come help at the Final Four, Packer said Charlie would “fag out” and not come. Later, Billy said he used the words constantly, that the phrase meant what dictionary.com defines it as, “to tire or weary by labor; exhaust”, and would do it again without hesitation.

But while his definition wasn’t wrong, the phrase hasn’t been used commonly for nearly a century which, knowing how insanely old fashioned and cranky Packer is, seems to fit right in.
