Life imitates art (or, at least, a Farrely Brothers Film)

Ted: What about Brett Fav….rah?

Mary: What’d I tell you the first time we met? I’m a Niners fan.

Favre SAM

So, in the theatrical version Brett Favre comes rushing back to the love of his life (Mary), seeking a full embrace from the love of his life (Mary), only to find that he has been beaten out by another man (Ted).

In the real life version, Brett Favre comes rushing back to the love of his life (Packers football), seeking a full embrace from the love of his life (Packers football), only to find out that he has been beaten out by another man (Aaron Rodgers).

Do you think this is a coincidence?

Let’s review….

  • Mary=Packer’s football
  • Ted=Aaron Rodgers
  • Brett Favre=Brett Favre
  • A highway rest stop=Lambeau Field
  • Warren=Mike McCarthy
  • Magda (the neighbor’s shriveled breasts) = Tom Coughlin’s frozen face

When you break it down mathmatically, it’s sooo simple.

Does this mean Chris Elliott is coaching the linebackers this year?
