Second show for possible Indiana University head basketball coaches in this little thingy called the NCAA tournament. We include on this list anyone who might be a candidate, anyone we dream of as a candidate, and anyone that seems rational.
Of course, we know the administration will find a way to end up with David Shula leading the program. No matter: We can dream, right?
Here’s how things went on Friday:
| COACH | WIN/LOSS | NEXT OPPONENT |
| Mark Few, Gonzaga | Loss (Davidson) | Combing Adam Morrison’s pretty hair |
| Bruce Pearl, Tennessee | Win (American) | Sunday vs. Butler |
| Rick Barnes, Texas | Win (Austin Peay) | Sunday vs. Miami (Fl.) |
| Kevin Stallings, Vanderbilt | Loss (Siena) | Calling Hair Club for Men |
| Oliver Purnell, Clemson | Loss (Villanova) | Figuring ways to blow bigger leads |
| John Calipari, Memphis | Win (Texas-Arlington) | Sunday vs. Mississippi State |
Tomorrow’s a big day: Xavier’s Sean Miller, Notre Dame’s Mike Brey, Washington State’s Tony Bennett, Marquette’s Tom Crean and Pittsburgh’s Jamie Dixon battle for Hoosier love. Will any of them want to take over this train wreck of a program? Who knows?
Maybe they have a background in the Department of Homeland Security.
