Who’s going to be the next head coach at Indiana? Who knows?
With Athletic Director Rick Greenspan leading the search, it may be anyone from Tony Bennett to Dickey Simpkins. It could be Kevin Stallings, and it could be Count Blah. Or Tardy Turtle. We’ve lost all faith in the higher ups.
Regardless, we’re keeping an eye on everyone - any coach that’s been mentioned as a candidate or who might be a candidate or who dream could be a candidate or who might be in a porn film called “The Candidate”.
Here’s how they did on day one:
| COACH | WIN/LOSS | NEXT GAME |
| Sean Miller, Xavier | Win (Georgia) | vs. Purdue |
| Jamie Dixon, Pittsburgh | Win (Oral Roberts) | vs. Michigan State |
| Scott Drew, Baylor | Loss (Purdue) | The Beach |
| Tom Crean, Marquette | Win (Kentucky) | vs. Stanford |
| Tim Floyd, USC | Loss (Kansas State) | In-and-Out Burger |
| Tony Bennett, Washington State | Win (Winthrop) | vs. Notre Dame |
| Mike Brey, Notre Dame | Win (George Mason) | vs. Washington State |
Coming up tomorrow: Gonzaga’s Mark Few, Vanderbilt’s Kevin Stallings, and Indiana’s Dan Dakich … oh wait, he already has the job. Hmm … time to recalibrate.
