Migraine Bracket - March 10

No time for in-depth analysis on this bracket, kids. Sorry. It’s late, and if I look at one of these Big East teams one more time, I’m gonna punch somebody.

Anyway, four regions, 65 teams. Let’s start in the East, after the jump.

east0310

UNC is the #1 overall seed, and gets the play-in winner of Alabama State/Sacred Heart.

Now, onto the region that matches up with the East…yes, it’s the South!

south0310

Memphis holds on to the last #1 seed, edging Kansas, Texas, and Duke. Stanford is right on the borderline for that last 3 seed, but stands at a 4 in this version.

Next let’s take a look at the Midwest region:

midwest0310

Louisville lost their chance at a 2 seed by losing to Georgetown this week.

And finally, let’s examine the West:

west0310

Indiana loses a seed due to their bad loss at Penn State. UCLA collects a 1 seed easily, even though we should probably give the 1 seed to the officials who did their last two games.

QUICK NUMBERS:

Big East - 9 teams

Pac 10 - 7 teams

Big 12 - 6 teams

SEC, Big 10 - 5 teams

ACC - 4 teams

A10, MVC, MWC, WCC - 2 teams
