When we were searching for an image of Bruce Weber for this story, we hoped to find something like you see above. So we did a google search using Bruce’s name. And we found stuff. A whole bunch of stuff.

Problem is the most popular images from a search of “Bruce Weber” were, um, well, things like this:

And … oh boy. This:

Needless to say, we were a tad concerned about what our good friend Bruce was doing in his free time. Was this the reason he lost out on Eric Gordon? Or the reason behind the fall of Illinois hoops? We had to find out.

OOH! Time to put on our TMC investigative pants.

Turns out that, hard to believe, there’s another Bruce Weber. Apparently he’s a pretty big photographer for Abercrombie and Fitch, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, GQ, and Rolling Stone. Apparently he’s kind of a big deal.

And apparently he likes to take pictures of naked dudes.

Not that there’s anything wrong that, Bruce. Heck, the Illini Weber may have more success doing that than on the court. Come to think of it, are there any job openings in the nude photography industry? Bruce, are you listening?
