FOX Sports.com’s Jeff Goodman is now reporting that Kelvin Sampson has been fired as Indiana’s head coach:

“Sampson was informed early Thursday that he will no longer be the coach at Indiana, numerous sources told FOXSports.com. The official announcement is expected to come Friday, when the university’s self-imposed seven-day investigation period ends.”

So there you have it Sampson is out at IU, just like Goodman reported that D.J. White was out against Purdue.  White went for 19 points and 15 rebounds in the Hoosiers win so Goodman was all over that one.  Does Goodman have his “sources” right this time? Stay tuned…
