Okay, there’s no *OFFICIAL* confirmation yet on this, but multiple sources are saying that Indiana University will NOT be having a press conference prior to tonight’s game versus Wisconsin.

How can this be possible? Is the IU administration being run by third graders? How could you possibly drop a 15-page PDF detailing major allegations of cheating by the basketball coach and his assistants, and then play a game like nothing has happened?

At this point, I’m saddened to see that the McRobbie administration is off to just as poor a start in crisis management as the Brand and Herbert administrations achieved.

If I were IU, I would hold a press conference NOW. You cannot allow things to spiral further out of control. Any attempt to spin this situation is just going to be looked upon with contempt by both the fans and the media.
