Don’t believe all the happy marriage talk between former golf star Greg Norman and tennis great Chris Evert: It ain’t all that.

Here’s the story: For 18 years, Chris was married to Andy Mill, happy as can be, glad to always hang out with Andy’s best friend and that friend’s wife. The buddy’s name?
Greg Norman. And you thought they just called him “The Shark” because of his golf play.

 ”Greg Norman at one time was my best friend and a year-and-a-half ago I would have taken a bullet for this guy,”  Andy Mill told The Melbourne Herald Sun “But I didn’t realize he was the one who was going to pull the trigger.”

Norman and Evert got engaged Sunday, announced the news Friday. Evert and Mill separated in October of 2006 and officially divorced two months later. Norman divorced his wif e of 25 years in June of 2006.

When did they come together? Who knows?  Think of this way: At least they didn’t meet in Augusta. Then Greg would’ve had no chance at all.
