So ESPN is reporting Atlanta Falcons coach and former Louisville head man Bobby Petrino is leaving already, taking Houston Nutt’s former head coaching position at Arkansas (Nutt is now at Ole Miss). The WWL is reporting he’ll be paid around $3 million a year, but he’ll leave just a year into a 5-year, $24 million contract in Atlanta.
You’d think the Louisville football fans, who just suffered through a 6-6 year after Petrino left, would be over their anger.
Oh, you would be SO wrong. Here are some comments from www.cardinalsports.com message board:
“OMG… BP is the new coach at Arkansas… what a screw-job he is. Can’t trust him one bit”
“What is wrong with this man? He has mental issues or something. He can’t ever stay in one place”

“Correction: You do not “have”. To say you “have” Bobby Petrino is like going to the Bunny Ranch and saying you “have” the prostitute you rented for the evening. An hour from now, you’ll be out of money and she’ll be out the door”
Read this and you’d never know Petrino was 41-9 in four years at Louisville. Gotta love the hate.
