Head coach Charlie Weis had a terse, overly rigid post-game interview with NBC’s Alex Flanagan:
Flanagan: “What does the end of this streak mean?” (Notre Dame hadn’t lost to Navy since 1963)
Weis (angry tone): “It means we just lost the game, that’s what it means. That’s the only thing that matters to me”.
Flanagan: “What was the difference today?”
Weis (even angrier): “Two points was the difference. They scored two more than we did …”
Classy, Chuckles: Not only have you been proven to be a grossly inferior coach, but you can’t even be gracious. Where’s your touchdown Jesus now? This one’s for you, loser.
