During the Indiana/Penn State game Saturday, ESPN analyst Andre Ware said this about former IU tailback Anthony Thompson, who, in 1989, finished 2nd (just 70 points behind Ware) in one of the closest Heisman Trophy races ever:

“I have much respect for Anthony Thompson. He’s a class guy,” Ware said. “I can’t say that for all the players in that (1989 Heisman Trophy) race”.
