The Chiefs may be the worst team in the NFL this year. Granted, this was predictable, due to the team deciding that it would be in great shape relying on either Damon Huard or Brodie Croyle at the quarterbacking position.
Despite the Chiefs’ malaise, there is at least one member of the franchise who is overperforming. Unfortunately, it’s the mascot, KC Wolf. The Kansas City Star brings us this tale of bravery and heroism from Sunday, when KC Wolf smothered an unruly fan who was running about the pitch. Remarkably, KC Wolf even found time to uncork one of the greatest sports truisms ever uttered:
“Shoot,” KC Wolf said in an exclusive interview with The Star. “Drunk guys aren’t too hard to tackle.”
