NFL cracks down on out-of-town fans

For those who haven’t heard, NFLstreaming.blogspot.com is no longer active. The site, which offered links to various SOPCast broadcasts of NFL games across the country, was allegedly killed by NFL goons, who got wind that football fans without DirecTV might actually be trying to follow their favorite out-of-market teams.
How did it happen? P2P message boards [...]

Bird sh*t 1, Bengals 0

Like you didn’t see this one coming.

How was Mr. Mackey caught? Well, here’s the description from the AP story:

Your Weekend in Words

Just in case the Big Ten games this Saturday are as boring as we predicted, here are some stories to keep you occupied.
Sally, again: In that smug, self-important way that she’s mastered, Sally Jenkins pops off about “Men Behaving Badly”, bemoaning the lack of professionalism in sports. Mind you, this is HER definition of professionalism, [...]

Greg Ryan, meet Montgomery Burns

Ok, who made the more boneheaded call:
Team USA coach Greg Ryan benching goalkeeper Hope Solo for Briana Scurry, or Montgomery Burns, who benched Darryl Strawberry for Homer Simpson?
Yes, everyone here knows one ended better than the other (Team USA lost 4-0 to Brazil, while Homer took a pitch to his noggin to win the [...]

When video machines attack

If you haven’t caught this on ProFootballTalk or Awful Announcing…we’ve got it here. Not that I’m proud of that, mind you. This is what happens when you combine a heart-warming story with THE WRONG VIDEO. Egads.
